Support for Overseas Trained Teachers

This webinar is a presentation hosted by PPTA Te Wehengarua and aimed at supporting Overseas-Trained Teachers (OTTs) and their colleagues and mentors. 2024 Data shows that overseas-trained teachers make up approximately 14% of our teaching workforce. The PPTA Network of Establishing Teachers (NET) is working to better support our new colleagues by providing resources and ensuring our new teachers are able to access PD and training to better support then in their new teaching roles in Aotearoa New Zealand.

This webinar is the first in a series that is based off surveys of OTTs in relation to what issues are relevant to their experience.
