Ending Streaming in Aotearoa

Hei Tīmatanga –Beginning Our Journey
In 2022, our Annual Conference unanimously passed the paper ‘Ending Streaming in Aotearoa New Zealand’. With the lofty goal of seeing the end of academic streaming in our classrooms by 2030, this page is a resource for educators who are interested in this kaupapa. As we move through the implementation phase of this mahi, we will add resources and other information here.
Check back regularly for updates. Our next summit will be held in 2025. In 2024 and 2025 we will also be holding regional wānanga.
Please get in touch with PPTA Te Wehengarua Advisory Officer Kylee Houpapa if you wish to hold a wānanga in your region.
