Years 11-13 Draft Curriculum Feedback
What and Why?
The draft curriculum content for the new 26 Ministry-led Phase 5 (years 11-13) subjects is now available and consultation is underway.
The consultation is taking place in three groups:
- Group 1 subjects: 15 May – 15 June
- Group 2 subjects: 10 June – 8 July
- Group 3 subjects: Mid-July to mid-August
What do these proposed changes mean for me?
Dr. Claire Coleman is again gathering expert feedback to create some short webpage/downloadable PDFs for each of the learning areas to support your understanding of some of the key changes being proposed. As a curriculum expert who is passionate about ensuring teachers, parents and whānau are fully informed about the proposed changes, Claire voluntarily ran some webinars previously to support the Draft 0-10 feedback process.
