NZPPTA Te Wehengarua Co-ordinator - Professional Development Fund for Secondary School Teachers

The Association is seeking a Co-ordinator for the Professional Development Fund for Secondary School Teachers.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead an important initiative between NZPPTA and the Ministry of Education.

The position is based in the Association’s national office in Wellington and is to provide co-ordination of, and leadership in, the PLD Fund. This is a fixed term position until 29 August 2025, as the current funding arrangement expires on 30 June 2025.

The Fund is subject to a Memorandum of Agreement (“MoA”) with the Crown and requires detailed quarterly reporting to the Ministry of Education.

This is a high-level position and the appointee, along with education, leadership and event organising experience, will also have skills in managing stakeholder relationships and report writing.

A commitment to secondary teacher professional learning and development and high-quality public education is essential.

The salary range is comparable to that paid to senior positions in secondary schools.
